The terms of using Design Talk Careers

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to hold an account on Design Talk Careers.

Your portfolio, your work

Students keep full ownership of the work in their portfolio. By publishing a project, you grant Design Talk a non-exclusive licence to display it on the board and to use it in Design Talk promotion. This licence does not give Design Talk ownership, and it does not stop you from using or licensing your work elsewhere.

Employer responsibilities

Employers warrant that every posting is lawful, accurate and reflects a role they are actually authorised to hire for. Misrepresenting a role, a studio or a hiring authority is a breach of these terms.

Editorial discretion

Design Talk may edit, decline, unpublish or remove any listing or account at its discretion, including where a listing does not meet our posting guidelines.

Fees

There are no fees during the current launch period. If fees are introduced in the future, we will give notice before they apply to you.

No guarantees

Design Talk does not guarantee employment, applications, or any particular outcome from using the board.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario.
